14.01.2022 My name is Sally Whitson. I provide private midwifery services in the Sunshine Coast. I have been a midwife for 20 years, supporting women and their families in various settings throughout Australia and in New Zealand. My passion is providing continuity of midwifery care to enable women and families to have choice and access to safe, personal midwifery care. I value building a caring, respectful and trusting relationship with each woman and her family to provide one-on-one m...idwifery care from early pregnancy, in labour and birth and through to six weeks postpartum. I am an endorsed midwife, which means some of my services are eligible for Medicare rebates. I provide private midwifery pregnancy and postnatal services in the home. I support women birthing in both the home and hospital environment. I work in partnership with a woman, placing her central to her childbirth experience and collaborate with health care professionals as her primary care provider to offer a range of holistic services. Childbearing, mothering and parenting can be a mixed bag of emotions.
