23.01.2022 Kym Purcell travelled with us on our 17-day Southern Africa Safari as well as the 17 day East Africa Safari and the gorillas in Rwanda. My husband and I had the pleasure of travelling to Africa with Safaris into Africa last year. We did a 17-day South Africa safari, Cape Town, 17-day east Africa safari and gorillas in Rwanda.... All of which was planned perfectly and we had a fantastic time. Clive and Anne were great tour guides and every day got better, with Clive saying wait till you see .... his enthusiasm was so infectious, we loved it and can’t wait to go again. We highly recommended them

20.01.2022 Ngorongoro crater is the only place in Africa where the black-backed jackal, side-striped jackal and golden jackal co-exist. The jackals have a lifespan of around 8 to 10 years in the wild and 16 years in captivity. On the 16-day migration safari in East Africa, we take you to the Ngorongoro crater to hopefully see the different species of jackals but the jackals are mostly active at night and they tend to be shy and hide away from humans so they are definitely a rare find b...ut well worth the trip. 15.01.2022 The San people are also known as Bushman are one of the last remaining African tribes that are still living in their natural environment. The San people create all their own medicines from roots, berries, grubs, plants and insects. Clive says the subsistence technology of the San can be divided into 3 categories Hunting tools: bow and arrows, a bark quiver, arrow poison kit, a spear, a knife, poking stick for spring hares, clubs, and snares.... Tools for gathering and carrying: Digging sticks, karosses, leather bags, carrying nets, carrying sticks, and containers for water, Eg: ostrich eggshells. 3 Food - processing tools: Cracking stones for the cracking nuts, fire - sticks, pots, serving utensils and food storage facilities. #africantours #safari #wildlife #africa #wildlifephotography #animals #southernafrica #travelphotography #safarisintoafrica #travel #adventure #africansafari #explore #gamedrive #bigfive #travelafrica #eastafrica

05.01.2022 The SAN Bushman still hunt and gather and prepare all their own food from scratch The women work hard all day collecting roots, berries, grubs, insects, tortoises, frogs and lizards. Once they have collected the food then they have to collect firewood and water to start preparing the food. The men hunt antelope and other game with poisoned arrows and spears and the hunts can last several days. ... The bushmen always camp several miles from their water-holes and the water that has been collected is brought into the camp in ostrich eggs or dried bucks’ stomachs.

01.01.2022 Clive, Anne and the team at Safaris Into Africa would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and safe travels for 2020!

01.01.2022 Alec B travelled with us on our 10 day Tanzania Safari and had quite a lot to say about it. Just got back from the most fantastic 10 days in Tanzania. When you book with Safaris Into Africa, you can feel assured that all the little details are taken care of and all one needs to do is enjoy the experience of a lifetime. My experience in East Africa was so different from what I have seen during many different safaris in Southern Africa. The immensity of the plains, the sheer ...numbers of wildebeest and zebra migrating, and the friendliness of the local people make this area truly unique. Clive and Anne Arnold were superb as tour leaders. Every detail was taken care of and we saw animal sightings that we would never have had we been with less experienced leaders. This couple knows Africa, it's people, the habitat and their excitement flows over to everyone in the tour group. Wildlife photography is their speciality and, while I prefer to observe with my own eyes, others in our group honed their photographic skills under the expert guidance of Clive and Anne. One big take away that I got after the 10 days is that Clive and Anne can put together tours to suit individual interests and, importantly, budgets. We opted for middle-of-the-road accommodation but they can arrange everything from the rudimentary right up to the top-notch. The only 'drawback' from the entire experience is that I now have a yearning to go back to see more of East Africa (perhaps Kenya next) and so pennies need to be saved between now and then! Thanks to Clive and Anne (and their team of drivers, lodge staff, etc) for a truly memorable experience. Thanks, more especially for being genuinely nice people who have made us feel more like friends than clients. We will be back! #africantours #safari #wildlife #africa #wildlifephotography #animals #southernafrica #travelphotography #safarisintoafrica #travel #adventure #africansafari #explore #gamedrive #bigfive #travelafrica #eastafrica
