12.01.2022 For a tiny bit of an insight into a day in the life of a rescuer here are some pics from today. While the incredible Jodee does the necessary things like computer programs and data input, and finances, applications, stories, foster organising etc etc. (All of which I am useless at!) I get to play. I also do wildlife rescue rehab and release so I truly have many interesting if full on, days. From taking a pelican for a quick vet check and Christmas photo (I wish it hadn't p...uked it's fish brekky up in my car. Not a great smell) to new puppies weighed wormed and washed to intakes of kittens needing ringworm washes. Enjoy everyone and thanks so much all you foster carers and supporters out there. He was about to be euthanised but was saved in the nick of time by the lovely Elle who got in touch with us. 11.01.2022 We are in desperate need for foster carers in Carnarvon and Perth for cats and dogs of all different sizes, all different breeds and all different ages. We are looking for people who would be interested in opening their homes and their hearts by fostering while our animals are in the process of being adopted. We provide some food and all vet fees are covered, we just need SAFE, secure, loving homes for our animals to hang out in until they find their new homes. If you can’t ...commit to having an animal full time this is a fantastic way to help animals and in return get loads of kitty and doggy cuddles. 07.01.2022 Friday Happy Tails Thanks Alan for the update! Mack has everybody well trained now! His morning walk is followed by breakfast, then a little sleep. Might go for a look around the back garden otherwise he will go to his spot under the A/C where he can keep an eye on his fridge. Likes his evening meal between 5 to 5.30 or he will come and sit on your foot just in case you have forgotten him. Hour after evening meal he will come and get you for your evening walk. Yes Mack... has really settled in well. He even gets on well now with men he knows. People he does not know he keeps an eye on but will in is own time go over for a quick sniff. He is getting over a operation he had to have about a month ago and seems so much better. Does not mine the vet too much as long as she has got a pigs ear for him. I would say Mack has settled in really well and he has a strong bond with Alex, Mack even lets him sleep on his queen bed. See more

05.01.2022 Feel Good Friday Tails Thanks Joy for the lovely update! Stan is very well and living a fairly blissful life here in Perth. He and I go for daily walks around the lakes or by the river and then he gets to run around with his doggy mates at the dog park after work. The white dog is poodle cross bichon Remi; they have been mates since his first visit to the dog park and even though Stan towers over him now, they are great buddies. He is still sweet and cuddly and has enhanced my life as much as I hope I have his.
