There is a new documentary called PARIAH DOG, about four people who take care of street dogs in Kokata, India. 17.01.2022 ***** FUN WHILE FUNDRAISING FOR SAFE - CHRISTMAS CARDS EVENT BONUS ***** You may remember Nira, who was painted by Wildlife Art by Michelle Jane Williamson, when we ran Fun while Fundraising for SAFE in April.... Well we are pleased to announce that Michelle has offered to paint one lucky pet onto canvas for our current event Fun while Fundraising for SAFE - Christmas Cards . How cool is that To enter simply:- 1. Go to the event page, Fun while Fundraising for SAFE - Christmas Cards, upload your photo of your pet, completed the online form, make your payment to SAFE bank account 2. Comment below saying why your pet makes you happy If you have already joined in the FUN, don't worry you have not missed out, just comment below and you will be entered. The draw will take place on Monday 23rd November, once the event has finished, so make sure you have followed all of the above by midnight 22nd November 2020. All photos entered into the event will be drawn by one of our volunteer artists, but one lucky pet will be turned into a beautiful canvas painting. 13.01.2022 Today we are celebrating International Volunteer Managers Day. International Volunteer Managers Day (IVMD) was founded and observed for the first time in 1999 and continues to be a day to recognise and thank those who enhance and enable the spirit of volunteering. This years theme is simply 'What's Next'.... On this special day we SAFE Inc would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the managers at out 11 branches. Without you SAFE would not be where it is today. #IMVDay20

12.01.2022 A very unexpected gift from The Universe was given to SAFE Inc, at a time of great adversity impacting on SAFE. It was November 2018 when we were contacted by The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association. It all seemed too good to be true, but it was all true. ... SAFE received a generous donation from them which enabled us to fund branches who were at great risk, as they could not find the funds to cover their vet bills, mostly for desexings. SAFE also received a trophy Shining World Compassion Award and a framed certificate, which were presented to us, and we were given the opportunity to be interviewed on World Wide Television so that the SAFE message could reach a broad audience across the World!! We have had a request from an animal business (can’t say too much as we don’t want to ruin the surprise) asking us to draw some animals, and make a Christmas card that they can send to their clients. ... What a lovely idea. We can even add a business logo to the card, to make it even more special.
