Day two has just ended and tomorrow is the final day. This is a very different and interesting way of conferencing, and it is great to still be able to attend!

13.01.2022 Exciting times at Safetylec! When Covid hit in March of last year, Safetylec, like most businesses, were questioning what they could do to get through such an unpredictable period. Well, just like many of their corporate counterparts, they stopped, examined how and what they were already doing and used the time to review ways the risk could be managed. Fortunately for the training arm, they were able to secure and hire a tenancy within the Toogood Road complex that could be u...sed as a training room. The training room was large enough that they could continue to train whilst maintaining social distancing under strict risk management processes. As the year progressed, Safetylec saw an opportunity and started negotiations with the owners to purchase the new tenancy. On March 29 2021, nearly a year after the first national lockdown, Safetylec became the proud owners of Suite 24 at Woree Plaza Business Centre. Suite 24 contains a front training room of approximately 80 sq mts, which can accommodate up to 12 persons whilst still maintaining social distancing. The suite also contains a break- out room of about 80 sq mts, and a separate kitchen and amenities area. With Safetylec’s existing boardroom and the purchase of Suite 24 as their new training room, Safetylec looks forward to expanding their training and consulting opportunities. Watch this space!

We are providing hand sanitisers and a complete clean down of the potential affected areas (tables chairs etc) and have an active air-conditioning maintenance policy. We have moved all training with more than 3 persons into our second training room and have put measures in place to maintain the 4 square metre requirement as recommended today. We have also reduced our intake to 10 persons. ...
