SAGE Automation has become an integral partner and trusted adviser for Chemring Australia across the last 10 years where weve played a key role in the design and construction of the first automated countermeasures manufacturing plant in Australia. 23.01.2022 SAGE is proud to have partnered with Metasphere Australia on the Sewer Level Monitoring and Alarming project for Urban Utilities which has resulted in improving the reliability of the sewerage network and a reduction in the risk of overflows in Sth East Queensland. SAGE delivered the ClearSCADA integration work responsible for receiving sewer level monitoring information from Metashperes Point Blue remote telemetry unit installed across 300+ manhole sites. The #SCADA system raises an alarm for control room operators to action in the instance where a manhole is in a high or overflow event.

22.01.2022 We couldnt be happier to share the news that our fuel farm control system upgrade project, in partnership with Tiwi Partners for Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, recently received approval to proceed to the fuel movement phase of commissioning. This major milestone was achieved with the inspection and testing being witnessed remotely by the projects design consultants and Fuel Services Branch stakeholders, following the installation and pre-commissioning activities. Sharing in $2m of funding over the next four years, SAGE will be working in partnership with The University of Adelaide, City Of Charles Sturt and District Council of Loxton Waikerie to develop dynamic school zone signage. Utilising the SAGE Edge device, ultrasonic pedestrian detection, LoRaWan network and dynamically controll...ed variable messaging to respond based on vehicle speed, time of day and pedestrian presence, the signage displays a message to approaching drivers to reduce their speed. This aims to make safer crossings and roads for children near school zones. 17.01.2022 Our #smartcities team work on some really exciting projects, with the current digital kiosk project for our client City of Marion being one of them! Lending from the technology developed for the Matilda Smart Transit Hub, theyre upping the ante and developing a digital kiosk that will be used for wayfinding and the discovery of services but also much more. The smart touchscreen will provide live, public transport schedules including current location, local event information,... public announcements and search ability for local points of interest such as playgrounds, restaurants and their opening times and promotions. Providing accessibility to those in wheelchairs will also be a key feature of the kiosk with the touchscreen including interactive screen rotation allowing for easier information viewing. Additionally, SAGE Edge devices will be installed within the area to collect visitation and dwelling metrics via Bluetooth and WiFi, with data accessible via the SAGE Smart City Platform dashboard. As an #IoT gateway, #SAGEEdge can be utilised for capturing localised sensor information, such as air temperature which together with visitation data will enable the Council to make informed expenditure decisions for the area. 10.01.2022 Last Friday, the project for our client SA Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) came to light when the In Pavement Lights (IPLs) were activated on the Panalatinga Road exit ramp from the Southern Expressway and at the intersection of Panalatinga, Kenihans and Old South Roads. The IPLs link to the intersections traffic signals and activate when traffic is passing in the direction of the lighting. The IPLs improve visibility for road users and allow drivers to easily navigate the intersections, especially during low light and poor visibility conditions. The project was completed in collaboration with our partner Traffic Control Systems and SAGE couldnt be more proud to help keep South Australians safer on our roads.
