24.01.2022 Lets face it stress is high for most business owners at present. There is support out there for you beyond the financial support you may get from your Accountant or Bookkeeper. Remember if you need help please reach out and use all resources available to you! The State Government has supported the Partners in Wellbeing telephone hotline and has expanded the program to provide business owners under stress with free access to business advisers and financial counsellors.... Its hours are 9am until 10pm weekdays and the service will soon be extended over weekends. If you are distressed or anxious about your business, please call Partners in Wellbeing at 1300 375 330. Roll out of these support services is expected to continue until 2022, with demand and future conditions set to guide further services

21.01.2022 Want to know more about us or maybe you just want to share how awesome we are! Check out the website!

20.01.2022 Today's announcement will bring hope to many businesses here on the Mornington Peninsula. To all our valued clients as soon as the detail is released we will be in touch to ensure we continue to support you to access as much support as possible. My hopes are high at the suggestion of additional announcements in the coming days to support sole traders who have largely missed out on State Grants. Fingers crossed this is rectified this time around.

19.01.2022 There isn't heaps to be excited about at the moment BUT a three fortnight month is something to celebrate! Are you aware that the month of August contains a JobKeeper catch up bonus? JobKeeper 1.0 has 13 fortnights but the month of August happens to be the only month of the program that has 3 fortnights ending within it. So your August month claim will have 50% more $$$ because it will be a 3 fortnight claim rather than the normal 2. ... Even if you have just become eligible you will benefit! Not registered yet? Please give us a call and we would love to help you out.

18.01.2022 The Business Support Fund extension grant closes in three days on the 14th September. Basically an opportunity for small businesses based in Victoria, on JobKeeper, registered for WorkCover and that employs staff to access one off grants. Click on the link below or if you need help understanding if your eligible or need some help to apply give us a call.

16.01.2022 Yes, you can still qualify for JobKeeper. Although Jobkeeper 2.0 is just around the corner, there are some businesses who may not have previously qualified who will now be able to register for Jobkeeper 1.0. If you expect to suffer a downturn in revenue during August or the September quarter compared to the same period in 2019, and the downturn is greater than the threshold (30% for business and 15% for NFP), you may be eligible for JobKeeper until the end of September.... You should also be aware that businesses who may have qualified in a previous quarter but did not register for JobKeeper can still register for August and September. Please contact us if you would like assistance in working out your entitlement.

15.01.2022 JobKeeper - Did you know that if you have employees that will be eligible for JobKeeper under the extension rules (1 July to determine eligibility) you need to notify them in writing by Tomorrow of your intention to apply for JobKeeper on their behalf. There is a new JobKeeper declaration form for 1 July eligible participants also. Not sure if this applies to you? Please give us a buzz and we will talk you through all the changes!

11.01.2022 Here is everything you need to know about the JobKeeper extension in an easy to read format!

09.01.2022 Changes to eligibility dates and changes to assessment for JobKeeper announced tonight! Softening of the recently announced rules will enable more businesses to extend JobKeeper past September. Rates to remain the Same but sensible announcements to support what is really happening to businesses in Victoria especially! We will be in touch shortly to let all our clients know if this helps! Watch this space as we understand more of what was announced this evening.

08.01.2022 Another JobKeeper Change! Announced on Friday changes to eligibility dates of 1 July to determine employees eligibility. Basically employees who meet the casual criteria on 1 July or were employed between 1 March and 1 July on a permanent basis can access JobKeeper 1.0 from Fortnight 10 (3rd august)! That's a big YAY! You do not need to wait for JobKeeper extension! Confused if this relates to you, comment below or call us!

07.01.2022 I can not ignore that this grant does not recognise the needs of many sole traders who operate from home, however here are the details for non-employing Sole Traders who rent a premise who may be eligible for the State Government $3,000 grant! If you are unsure if this applies to you or if you are eligible please give us a shout!

05.01.2022 We know these new restrictions are brutal for small businesses and difficult for everyone on the Mornington Peninsula. If you need support to access JobKeeper 2.0 or any financial assistance to understand what you may have access to please do not hesitate to give us a call.

01.01.2022 Eligibility criteria for the third round of the Business Support Fund went live last night. Additional criteria this time around is that you are on the list of eligible businesses based on your ANZSIC code. The list is long and seems to exclude many trades unfortunately. Check out this link and as always give us a shout if you need help to understand the rules.
