12.01.2022 With a few clouds about and a little spot of rain we were able to cater for 42 crew members today. It was truly wonderful to be back on the water. See you soon at Mcinherney Park Port Macquarie soon.
11.01.2022 Important Notification from Sailability Port Macquarie Wednesday sailing activities suspended for 2 weeks - we will not be sailing on 18th & 25th March. Re Corona Virus (COVID-19) In light of the unfolding situation with the COVID-19 virus, and with the clear duty of care to our members and volunteers, our clients and our clients carers and carer organisations, the Executive and Committee Members of Sailability Port Macquarie have made the decision to suspend Wednesday sailin...g activities at McInherney Park Port Macquarie for the next two weeks. We had hoped that we would be able to continue by applying sensible hygiene practices, however due to a lack of resources, we have made this decision to suspend sailiing in the interest of the welfare of all our members and participants. With the Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic changing daily and appearing to grow, we could not condone any activity that might expose anyone of our colleagues, clients, friends or family to any possibility of contracting the virus or any other related condition or complication. The situation will be continually monitored by Sailablilty Port Macquarie and any further changes will be posted on Facebook, text message and members emails and newsletters. 05.01.2022 To All Sailability NSW Branches, The following is the policy regarding the Coronavirus COVID-19 that will apply to all Sailability branches in NSW. In view of the unfolding situation with Coronavirus COVID-19 the Sailability NSW Executive has decided to suspend all branch activities with immediate effect until further notice. This decision has not been made lightly. The decision has been made in light of our duty of care to our sailors, volunteers, participants and members. W...ith the situation changing on a daily basis we cannot continue our activities which may expose our volunteers and participants to any unnecessary risk. The Sailability NSW Executive will continue to monitor the situation and advise of any change to this policy. The suspension applies to all on and off water activities.
