21.01.2022 What with the virus we can't blow the candles out on the shared birthday cake. We had used the hand sanitizer.

11.01.2022 A beautiful sunny morning saw Col, Doug, Peter and Richard at the Dam to pull in the pontoon and walkway. A short section of the walkway was under water and its end had dug a little into the sand on the shore. So out came large planks, the walkway was gently levered up, other planks put underneath it to form a ramp, and our trusty tractor pulled it up the bank. Other jobs were done too. Some no longer needed ropes and chains were put into storage after the pontoon and walkway were secured in the new positions, and a picnic table was shifted away from the rising water. The water level in the Dam is rising quite slowly, so it may be a while before we have to move the pontoon again. And now we are waiting for news of our first Special Olympics Gold Medal Winner - her babe is due today!

11.01.2022 Unfortunately sailing for the season has been suspended and the Sailing Centre closed on advice from Hunter Water, because of the social distancing requirements set by the State and Federal Governments. So maintain the distance, keep well and we look forward to seeing you next season.
