18.01.2022 With about 20 minutes to race start there's not much breeze on the harbour but the fleet is getting ready for the race back to Fremantle. All the best to all the competitors.

09.01.2022 They're out there somewhere Sailing the Sound. My guess is they're anchored up in Frenchmans Bay having lunch. And that's the great thing about cruising the Sound - there is ALWAYS a sheltered spot to sail to & anchor up in, no matter the weather :)

08.01.2022 As they head across the Sound Dirty Deeds hooked into a good left shift whilst Sue Sea stayed right & Dirty Deeds slipped by Sue Sea. All of the fleet is in the Sound now.

07.01.2022 Albany to Fremantle race record smashed!. Congratulations to Calm who finished the race at 21:47:55 on Sunday 26th April in record time of 33h 52m 55s. The previous record time was 36h 43m 35s Calm broke the record by 2h 50m 40s and would have easily broken it by 3+ hours if there had been a reasonable breeze at the start. None the less they had a dream run from Bald Head to Fremantle with a steady wind abaft the beam most of the way.

05.01.2022 It's fantastic to see the Marina almost filled with yachts. The Fremantle to Albany race banners flown on the forestays of all the competing yachts looks great too. Oh & did I mention how much of a superb Autumn day it is in Albany again today? :)
