23.01.2022 When restoring historic landmarks, we tend to plan in phases knowing that there will be unforeseen issues. We are currently finishing the first phase which includes the full restoration of the exterior of the building, windows and roof. The east side of the Lodge is now completed and you can see the talented trades people working on the west side. Here is a video about the restoration of the façade with a special thank you to the local team at Pioneer Masonry working with Lydig Construction.

21.01.2022 At Daniels Real Estate, we understand that historic preservation is about reflecting our past while inspiring our future. When the former seminary building is completely restored, visitors will discover a civic treasure maintaining its historic integrity, architecture and ambiance. To do so takes careful work by skilled trades men and women. The following short video is about the meticulous roof restoration completed by Lydig Construction and Wayne's Roofing. Thank you for your fine work and craftmanship.

16.01.2022 Waterproofing for the roof has been completed and the original shingles are now being placed back. If you are at the park you can see the construction crews working on this intensive restoration task. In addition, abatement work is almost complete and interior demolition is ongoing. Below is a photo of the former dining hall which will be a NW inspired restaurant dedicated to locally sourced foods, with first-of-the season produce. The Lodge will have a garden south of the pool building with herbs and vegetables for the restaurant.

07.01.2022 Part of the first phase is also getting the interior of the building up to code with all new electrical and plumbing. You can see the magnitude of the task with new plumbing being installed in the former basement where a new wine bar, event space and wellness spa will be located.

04.01.2022 Within the Lodge we are laying new plumbing in the basement for the wellness spa and you can begin to see the newly refurbished steel and wood windows back in place. Every window was inventoried and will be placed back in its original opening. Thank you to Chosen Window and Lydig Construction for your careful work!
