18.01.2022 Today, Saturday 15th August 2020, St Matthew's community joined Anglican Churches across Northern Queensland in ringing our bell for a minute at 12 noon to remember the 75th anniversary of the end of World War Two, as well as raising our Australian flag.

17.01.2022 Tomorrow is All Saints’ Day. It is a day when we are called to remember all saints of God, both known and unknown to us. Why not come along to Church and learn about the saints, light a candle for the people we have lost and enjoy some morning tea.

05.01.2022 We are celebrating the feast of St Francis of Assisi with a pet blessings service this Sunday 9am in our Church Hall. Pets are welcome at all our services this weekend but especially at 9am.

05.01.2022 We are now able to have congregations of 50 people at St Matt's. All services: Thursday 9.30 am, Saturday 5 pm and Sunday 7 am and 9 am are operating under the new COVID19 regulations for social distancing, contract tracing and hygienic practices. Sunday School and Youth Group will recommence on Sunday 19th July and Mainly Music on Wednesday 22nd July.

03.01.2022 Happy birthday to our St Matthew’s Church community on this Pentecost Day, the birthday of the Christian Church !

03.01.2022 Please be aware that the new Queensland social gatherings restrictions do not apply to Churches. We are covered by an Industry COVID 19 safety plan for places of worship. All services will go ahead as planned this weekend.

03.01.2022 Today is Palm Sunday! St Matt’s community is launching a year for the renewal of our flora creation. Plant a plant, flower, tree etc this year to help God’s creation. This is a new family member called Sam.
