21.01.2022 The love of our families is always near. Due to the pandemic restrictions we are all faced with, our nearest and dearest cannot be with us as the Class of 2020 graduate. Whilst the special events will be streamed live, the girls have created this special wall where the mass will take place, symbolising they are still with us.

19.01.2022 'Celebration Charity Concert' Although our students are enjoying their school holidays, there are a number of girls from our choir who will be performing at The Children's Hospital this week. This event is the only fundraiser for Music Therapy at the Hospital as it receives no funding. This is the first time 'Beethoven's 9th' will be performed in the Wiradjuri language. The girls have been giving up their Sunday's learning the music and recording the videos.... Congratulations to the following girls involved in this lovely, worthwhile event: Chloe C, Chelsey-Rae H and Isabelle S in the Orchestra with Jordana N, Darcy E, Sophie V, Laila A, Emily M, Angelina B, Tavara S, Charley L, Yukiko W, Grace K, Molly Q, Diadem A More information and ticket purchase via https://www.csme.org.au/youtubecharityconcert.html

18.01.2022 This commemorative video was created to reflect on our 180 years. It was played at today’s final assembly earlier today. With the theme, Always Been My Light, it highlights that whilst times, people and places have changed, we have always had a strong light guiding us through. We are a place of welcome. A place for challenge and opportunity. We never forget where we came from and we are eager to see where the light will take us.... Written and Directed by Ms Danielle Grant, Filmed Footage by Mr Julian Nash, Voice Over Artist - Arden Dickerson and Post Production and Audio by Mr Joshua Combes. Introducing Always Be My Light...

11.01.2022 Year 9 Catalyst have spent part of the Term designing their own aeroplanes. They had a good knowledge of the theory of flight with Mrs Irwin. They had to consider: centre of gravity, aspect ratio, maximising lift and minimising drag.... Today tethered to the Power Anchor as a source of power, they tested their aeroplanes. They were assessed on the speed, the amount of lift and stability. The ‘winning’ group was Kawther and Sienna with their ‘Florelle 2000’ which flew incredibly fast. Runner up was Chelsea-Ray and Cynthia with their aeroplane named ‘Leviathan.’ A special mention to Valentina and Alyse who used ‘biomimicry’ basing their design and wings on an albatross very clever indeed! Well done to all the girls. #GirlsloveSTEM #sciencerocks
