24.01.2022 Redlands Chamber of Commerce breakfast to launch the Business Awards. As the President of the Chamber stated it might be a hard time to celebrate but it is a go...od time to acknowledge and support our local businesses by proceeding with the Business Awards. One COVID changeI is all voting will be digital. I will deliver voting information to businesses and Facebook post on how you can support your local shops etc. Congrats to local Wellington Point Bathrooms 2nv for being business of the month and also to another local Jeff from Salads Made Fresh on a good presentation on how his business has pivoted in these times. Our locals have to be congratulated on their initiatives and innovation in so many fields due to the unexpected impacts. STAR Community Services and Home Assist were amongst the businesses who attended this morning which was a very positive meeting. Many of these community service groups have increased in clients and also the services they offer. I look forward to a few follow up meetings to progress some mutually helpful business connections.... including a new business by a local Ormiston family that is blending ! 17.01.2022 Jeff and Darlene from Salads Made Fresh Pty Ltd made some quick changes to their business model when COVID hit. As big orders from pubs and clubs dried up, they... switched to providing smaller orders to nursing homes and retirement villages. Theyll be using their Small Business COVID-19 Adaption Grant for new software to help adapt to their new way of doing business which will help keep their staff in jobs. It also means our staff are well trained to follow strict protocols which are founded on the preventative actions the general public are now being asked to follow. When you come to our factory for pick up please help us to maintain our standards. 04.01.2022 WERE OVER IT!!!! We are sick and tired of seeing some individuals and so-called businesses trying to profit from the current situation so heres whats going to happen. If you need toilet paper, soap, bleach, laundry liquid, surface sanitiser or cleaning products in general just ask....... WE WILL GIVE IT TO YOU.... We have placed extra orders on our wholesalers so more stock will be in next week. Seriously...no-one needs to go without or get ripped off because of the actions of the greedy few. If you are unable to come to the factory because of your circumstances we will deliver it anywhere in the Redlands. Just call and ask. Our vehicles are on the road daily.
