19.01.2022 Fear is your brain's conclusion to sensory input it cannot conclude is harmless. When you ignore these inputs you extend the level of uncertainty and heighten the fear response. In effect by not logically examining the arousal triggers or giving your brain a safe explanation for the increased arousal the fear persists.
