04.01.2022 I think my eyes are starting to turn square We have pulled some massive days in the office the past few weeks catching up on emails, quoting, invoicing, writing run sheets, itineraries, liasing with suppliers and the list goes on and on. A lot of people don't realise the amount of background work that goes into a wedding, they only see what happens on the day. Let me tell you there is so much that goes on behind the scenes to pull it all together and not just from us, but... from the photographers, florist's, celebrants, venues & everyone in between. 04.01.2022 The past five weeks have been insane and amazing all at once, Im not sure how Im even still standing to tell you the truth with 8 beautiful weddings over this period. Im physically and emotionally exhausted, I feel as though I could sleep for a week as my brain isnt even functioning right now. People often say to me what a glamorous job you have. Let me tell you its far from it. We have trekked countlessly up and down beaches with equipment, climbed ladders, laundered, ...cleaned, polished, packed, bubble wrapped, unpacked, bumped in, sat up to all hours answering emails, quoting, invoicing, planning and dont even get me started on those midnight bump outs. We work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything is perfect for every single wedding day. Its a roller coaster sometimes this wedding industry gig. And dont get me wrong I love my little biz and all my beautiful clients. But right now, I feel as though I have nothing left in the tank.
