24.01.2022 Get ready to pick up your jaws off the floor . It is time for another before and after and boy-o-boy are you in for a treat . The transformation of this Queenslander renovation is incredible to say the least, from a small humble cottage to the prettiest stately home on the street. You’ve only got one chance to make a first impression and this one doesn’t disappoint with maximum street appeal. ... When the homeowners purchased the cottage, they set out to turn the property into a stylish, spacious, family forever home. To create maximum space the house was raised and build in under with a renovation to the existing. Some of the features of the facade are the triple gables, gate house, fancy lighting (the owner is an electrician @sparkydan ), stone wall, a lush lawn that would rival the local putting green and I mustn’t forget the door knocker bought over from the UK by the owners’ grandparents (it’s the exact same one as 10 Downing street) does it get any more majestic than that? What’s your favourite part of this transformation? (I bet you have flicked back and forth with the before and afters a few times) I know I did.

15.01.2022 We know how much you guys love a solid "before and after" pic so I have put one together of the haven house. This was a full renovation and extension of a little post war home in Manly West . I absolutely love the front door colour Brooke chose for this one, it makes me smile every time I drive past. The renovation definitely freshened up the facade .

07.01.2022 Who else overthinks their design choices? Especially when there is so much inspiration in magazines, Instagram and Pinterest (just to name a few). It makes sticking to a choice pretty difficult. And then there’s the but what if it dates argument. ... To be honest absolutely everything is going to date at some point and not everyone will like it because we all have different taste. So my advice now is - to not worry so much about the trends (they will come and go) or what other people think and make choices that you love. The most important thing is that you are happy with it, after all it is your home. Bathroom is at our Bayside reno. See more

06.01.2022 We love that we get to keep in touch with all our clients long after we have worked with them. Last month I was invited around to take some pictures for our friends (past clients) and their growing family. We did an extension for them around 2 years ago and ended up becoming good friends through the process. It just had me thinking that we get along so well with every one of our clients that we have worked with over the years. Not just us as in Brett and... I personally but the whole team. We are all down-to-earth, have good values, great work ethic, and a very caring nature which seems to attract clients with the same qualities. Just this weekend passed we went to Esk to stay with friends. Funnily enough they were also clients, years ago (hard to fathom now as I think of them as family), but we did our first ever Queenslander house raise and build in for them in Wynnum. Their son now works with us, we have recently been a part of a 50th celebration, spent part of Christmas day with them and so many other wonderful memories. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to meet, work with and become friends with so many incredible people through our business. For most we are there from day dot when the project is still a faraway dream. We work with clients from anywhere from 6 months to 2+ years. Hence the reason we probably befriend so many. The custom design and build process is not a short one and not one to be rushed. No two journeys are the same. For some it’s their first building project and we spend extra time making sure they understand every part of their project so they can make decisions confidently every step of the way. For others it’s their 2nd or 3rd time building and they don’t need as much nurturing. Regardless it will always be our job to provide a supportive environment through the whole process (where no question is ever a silly one) and to lay out a clear process to get from point A to point B. We might even become friends along the way. See more

05.01.2022 Adding all the finishing touches, character and detail to the Highview project before the clients move in at the end of the week. Every effort is made to create a quality finish that everyone can be proud of but most importantly our clients are excited to live in.
