25.01.2022 She’s a tough game!! Definitely going to miss this guy. The big boy Oh Mo goes off to Melbourne to his new trainer tonight in the form of his life. Heart breaking to lose him but We wish the connections well, and hopefully all of our hard work put into this talented galloper pays off.

16.01.2022 For anyone interested Race a horse with Sam Burford Racing in Adelaide. We have purchased 3 reasonably priced yearlings at the sales this year and shares still available. Contact Darren Franklin or Sammy Burford for more info and get involved. Shares start at just $400 for 2.5%. Unlike a syndicator we put nothing on these horses, we simply want owners in with us at their share of the cost of the horse. We got some great value buys this year and that’s getting harder to do... in the current boom market. Sam myself and his vet Dan Humphries (one of Adelaide best equine vets) have ensured all 3 are low risk Bone/joint X-ray results. All 3 scoped good to very good and all 3 are lovely movers. Giving us the best chances of getting to the track and winning races. Ongoing costs. Sam Burford racing is $60 a day (half vic and NSW training fees). So 2.5% shares when a horse is in full work are about $75 a month. $150 a month 5% share etc. when not in work you are looking at about $18-20 a month 2.5% and $35-40 for a 5% share. Name in the book. Full ownership privileges. Prizemoney paid direct to you from race clubs. Sam or myself managing owners of all horses we offer.
