17.01.2022 Miss. Rollo’s Stage 1 Food & Hospitality class: Recently the students were reminiscing on their Italian trip, so this task was developed to combine their passions for food and travel. Students were split in two groups where they worked together to design, prepare and produce a three-course menu suitable for first class passengers. Next week we are going to Tokyo, Japan! Miss. 16.01.2022 In R/1 Harris/Judd we had a brain storm about how we can become environmental warriors. We also highlighted how much recycling we actually do at school every day. Did you know that if you collect your used (clean) foil and scrunch it into a ball the size of a tennis ball, it can go in the yellow recycling bin? ... Did you know that you can put plastic like your squeezey yoghurt tops in a plastic milk bottle and when full it can go into the yellow recycling bin? 06.01.2022 Year 9 HASS students created a multimodal exhibition around a World War One battle. They focused on the long and short term of the battle, and used a range of primary and secondary sources from the Australian War Memorial to examine the story of an individual who was involved in the battle.
