23.01.2022 Hi members, All Sand arenas will be closed from 12pm Saturday 7th until 2pm Sunday 8th. Grass Arena will be closed from 3pm 7th until 2pm 8th. Members fun day is on 8th and arenas will be raked and setup beforehand. Happy Riding everyone.

22.01.2022 Last riders are taking flight over the 1.20 now. The day did run behind schedule. Pack up will be straight after this class finishes. We had a number of riders down for pack up who have just disappeared. We will be taking note of this for our future events. This has left the organising committee to do even more work to pack the event up, and several riders who have done more than their fair share all day to pick up the the slack. This is just not acceptable. For such a great ...day to have people just ditch their jobs really leaves the organising committee questioning how many more of these days we run. We cant run these events without your help. If you have ridden on the day and you where given a job then you need to complete it. The committee is seriously considering not accepting riders at our next event who have done this. Sorry to leave such a sour post on what was actually a super super day. See more

14.01.2022 Important notice for all members: We have been given feedback some of the new drainage gaps in the sleepers could be a potential hazard for horses hooves so, when walking your horses in and out of the sand arenas keep to the middle of the sleepers. ELD has generously offered to come back and re-space the sleepers at no cost and we thank them for their ongoing professional services at our club.... Until they return we will place red cones over the gaps however this are easily moved and we cannot guarantee they will stay in place so please so again, when walking your horses in and out of the sand arenas keep to the middle of the sleepers. Thank you for your attention, caution and patience whilst we attend to this.

09.01.2022 Hi all, okay so the usually Jump club wrap up. Be warned its loong. Yep we where a little soured by the earlier post we shared today but its leaving a bad impression about this day which actually really fabulous. There where so many positives that just need to be shared with you all! Firstly a big thank you to Dawn, Dani, James for organising such a fabulous day. The show jumping rounds where efficient minimal time lost between riders coming in and out of the ring! Thanks ...to the ever amazing Kate on the Gate, and her helper Rowland both spent the whole day at the show grounds just to help us ride, neither had family members riding. Thanks to Harry for being our friendly covid-safe checkin steward and welcoming everyone as they arrived. Truely some special people and very valued volunteers. Then we have to thank some really awesome riders who just went above and beyond what was expected of them, Nicole, Tom, Alison and many many more who helped and helped and helped all day long doing their allocated job for the day then helping change the course or pick up poles or just anything that they saw that needed to be done. We where watching today and saw many many others do this too, so dont worry if you helped us we saw and we really appreciate it. Now on to our awesome sponsors! We really really appreciate your support some of which has been continued on from previous years. Thank you thank you thank you. Please if you won a prize from our great sponsors reach out to them and thank them, go like their Facebook page or instagram account. They would love to hear from you and probably see you enjoying their awesome prize. Congratulations to all the prize winners and also Congratulations to all the riders who didnt win ribbons but turned up, gave it ago. Today you may not have won a ribbon but you did take wins in the steps towards achieving your goals and that cant be measured or measured by the number of ribbons hanging on your wall. Thank you to all the riders who travelled near and far to enjoy this event, your brought smiles, you brought wonderful chats and you where so supportive of each other. Lastly lets take the time to thank our four legged friends, because with out them this day wouldnt happen at all. So hug them tight, shower them with apples and carrots they all deserve it. Until our next event, happy and safe riding.
