23.01.2022 Abs/Oblique exercises Had to film this outside in the gorgeous sunshine, even though it was a bit windy Sequence: ... Aim for 10 reps x 2-3 sets of each exercise: Double toe taps - on diagonal/corners of the mat. Chest lift with single leg float - rotate chest to thigh that is lifting to tabletop. Chest lift with long legs- rotate chest to thigh that is lifting up. Criss cross - not bicycle!!! Keep this slow & controlled. Corkscrew (kinda) - roll over & roll down on one side of your spine. Side plank twist - thread top arm under ribs. Can do on hand or forearm. Front plank - alternating knees to opposite elbow and knees to same elbow. Side plank hip lifts - dont let your hips touch the mat. Can do on hand or forearm. Please keep in mind this is slightly sped up! 21.01.2022 Okay whos feeling tight? Here is a full body foam roller massage/stretch: UPPER BACK & EXTENSIONS: Hands behind head to support neck (make sure your hair/baggy clothes are out of the way). LATS: get in right under those pits. ... LOW BACK: this is for the muscles the run along the sides of the spine, take your elbow on the ground for either side (be cautious not to roll your spine/ribs). GLUTES: using my opposite leg to add extra pressure into the Glute I am rolling (you dont have to do this). HAMSTRINGS: again I added my top leg to add pressure (you dont have to do this). CALVES: again I added my top leg to add pressure (you dont have to do this). ITB: we all know this one optional to use your top leg to help support yourself as shown. QUADS: you can roll a single leg or both at once as shown. HIP FLEXOR STRETCH: raise hips on foam roller or arm of couch and bring one leg towards chest as the other leg stretches.
