22.01.2022 COVID-19 has caused unavoidable circumstances and we all are facing difficulties. As we have been surviving through self-isolation process to fight against Corona Virus, among many people an international student in Australia has been one of the major victims. Australian government has been keeping us updated with different scheme on this crisis situation, but we are looking forward for the benefit towards an international student from government. SAM NEPALI has always stood ...in times of difficulty for an international student and on this panic situation, Sam Nepali Welfare Fund is here for you. We don't have a complicated requirement as it is done by an individual, but we do have limited amount for the help. Since, it is not an organization so managing it individually, I have set a budget of around $5000 for those international students who have been highly impacted by COVID-19. Criteria for the eligibility to take this help is outlined below: Must be a Nepali International student residing in Melbourne (We apologise for the limited place and nationality as we have a limited budget, so we are not able help people from other state or another country) Must send bank statement or any documents which prove that they are in high need of help(but we are flexible with it as well).. In case of necessity, we will buy grocery with delivery service at your place (only for northern suburb) But if you live in another suburb, you can buy the needed grocery and send us bill so that we can refund it. Bill must be presented because some of our friends have gambling habits and we don't want people to misuse it as it is hard earn money. If you are facing a problem for the rent, as we have limited budget so we won’t be able to help. So, before the thing gets worst, please email your landlord explaining your situation and ask help for the negotiation of rent. They will help for sure . We are here for you to provide you emotional support. Let us know if you need any counselling or motivation during this self-isolation period. We respect your privacy and care about your mental health. We look forward to reach to the needy student. We shall maintain the confidentialy and help you in every possible way in this emergency situation. Sam Nepali is always with you so feel free to share your difficulties.
