22.01.2022 Little Honesty, my mums 16wk old cattle dog puppy doing some tricks for me. I taught her "kiss" and "Touch" (with your nose) at 10wks. "Wave" at 12wks and "speak" about 2mins before the video was taken. Shes a smart cookie and oh sooooo cute! I could steal her.

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just an update on my situation. Caboolture ED fast track had not cleaned the cat bite wound properly last monday when it happened. My doctor fobbed me off on the Tuesday arvo saying it was definitely infected but to wait a few days to see if antibiotics worked. Leanne took me to sunshine coast university hospital last Thursday morning where I was immediately assessed by doctors, sent for xrays and ultrasounds, put on IV antibiotics and orthopaedic surgeons were ...Continue reading

14.01.2022 OCTOBER CLOSING FOR GROOMER REJUVENATION. I will be having a week away from the 9th to the 18th of October. This will ONLY affect my WEEK 1 clients. I will be grooming these dogs between my Week 4 dogs. I will spread them out over the week days from the 5th to the 8th of October. When I return schedules will continue as normal. I will send out text message confirmations and times as normal with rescheduled days so no need to worry. I will also be delivering a flyer with this info for my week 1 clients when I visit this week. I am now FULLY BOOKED FROM 5TH - 8TH OCTOBER.

13.01.2022 PLEASE READ To all of my valued customers. With the current situation and Restrictions coming back into force again very suddenly this morning. I am just wanting to let you know its business as usual for us, Im still available. As a small business that strives to provide only the best service possible we need your support. I would like to remind owners of my Covid safe processes for grooming your dog. This includes the No owners inside or hanging on the sides of the traile...r please. Please refresh your memory of my processes for everyones safety. Lets hope this doesnt last long. Myself, my trainee Mags & Leanne are ensuring that we have protocols in place to limit our exposure during our private lives so as we can continue to service our clients. There is never more than two of us, and we operate outside, not in an enclosed space. We are providing hand sanitiser for us and our clients to use at each and every stop. We will also be spraying the entire trailer between stops with disinfectant. The trailer is fully cleaned at the end of every day. To protect both ourselves and our human customers we would also like to adhere to the 1.5m no contact advice. We have hitching points on the side of the trailer where you can clip your dog to, we can then do their grooming and clip them back there for you to collect if you are at home. The photo below shows the anchor points which are the same on both sides of the trailer. Otherwise we can collect directly from your yard. I am asking you politely to stay outside of the trailer and to avoid touching the trailer, power cord and hose unless it is necessary. With payment, I will check with you at time of appointment confirmation how you would like to pay. If paying by cash, you can pop it in an envelope or zip lock bag for us. We can do credit card via phone or bank transfer prior to our arrival. If using a credit card at the time of service please wait until I put the machine on the wheel arch of the trailer and use pay wave without touching the machine. We aim to work with our clients to make these times as easy as we possibly can. If you are in self isolation, let me know privately and we can work it out together to ensure your pets are still getting their grooming needs attended to during these trying times. If you are high risk, over 70, pregnant or have young children, or work in the care services and your animal needs to attend routine vet appointments I also offer to take your animal for you and return them home. I normally offer this service but most especially at this time. Also if I am coming to your place and you need anything from the shops PLEASE let me know and I will bring it with me for you. 11.01.2022 Update : Just letting my customers know that I am currently at the hospital having the hand checked and it seems I might need to have surgery. This could put me out of action for a week or two unfortunately. Next weeks clients and those that were missed this week are all sorted. 04.01.2022 Hi Everyone, It seems my bad luck isnt done with me yet. On Monday at around 12 I was grooming my second cat customer who was seriously unimpressed with the idea. As cats can do he expolded in a fury of teeth and claws. While I had a good hold of him and avoided 90% of the claws he managed to twist his head around just enough to hook his bottom canine into my knuckle forcing it through and bringing it out the other side a cm further away. While trying to extract his teeth f...rom my hand I lowered him to the ground allowing him to force his body up and reef the tooth out tearing the skin on the back of my hand off the muscle and creating a pocket. As expected my hand immediately started spraying blood. I calmed cat down and released him as I felt my body going into instant shock. The owner deserves a medal for sorting me out as I fought with my body not to pass out lying on her carpet sweating. Once I came good I drove my car and trailer to a friends place where I could leave it safely and she drove me straight to Caboolture ED. I spent the entire afternoon there and got home at 5pm. Leanne managed to swap her shift yesterday and did all but 4 of yesterdays bookings. I am currently unable to use or move my hand at all. Doctor said yesterday its badly infected but 2 -3 days to see if i get a fever and if the Antibiotics work..... (clearly not seen a cat bite go bad before). I will be out of action for the rest of this week but I will do my best to be back on board next week. Ill try to get all my clips done on Sunday with my groomer friend. My 4 week schedule will stay the same and I will catch up on missed appointments asap. Ive so very sorry for the inconvenience this has cause and I HATE to leave my customers hanging and not turning up. I will message each missed booking to reschedule when I have a friend to help me with the 2 handed stuff. I hope everyone understands this is an occupational hazard and I do really do my best to not get injured to this degree. See you all very soon, I hope.
