Join Sue for a few hours of serenity, self-care and surrender as we welcome Summer (and the silly season) with a slow flow yoga practice, cooling breathwork and mantra, a short break, then a yin yoga practice focusing on heart, lungs and intestines meridians, followed by an extended guided relaxation. There will be time afterwards for a cuppa and a chat too. You’ll leave feeling serene and settled. Suitable for all levels, and no previous yoga experience necessary.

16.01.2022 Samsara is adding another Yogalates to the timetable starting Tuesday 1st December 2020 at 4.30pm. This will be a three week trial. (Instructor Cherie) What are the benefits of Yogalates? Yogalates allows you to develop tone and strength in all the major muscle groups, enhancing your stamina and flexibility as well as improving your balance. This class will help to calm the mind and de-stress the body.

11.01.2022 Nat and Cherie are pleased to announce the stars of Samsara's Six week 'Be the Best You' challenge: OUR INBODY CHAMPION IS........... LISA G - whose Inbody total score rose by a massive 7 points in six weeks. With her hard work and dedication, Lisa managed to gain over a kilogram of muscle and decreased her fat (not weight but total body fat) by 5.5kg. We congratulate her and acknowledge the unbelievable dedication and effort she applied throughout the six weeks. Well done... Lisa. OUR STARS OF CONSISTENCY ARE......... PAM W AND MEL M. Consistency is the foundation of healthy habits. These two lovely ladies were impossible to separate in our view. Both applied themselves 100% to all activities (regardless of the amount of sleep they had) and their results showed. Pam W increased her Inbody score by 3 and lost a massive 4.3kg of fat (not weight but body fat), which is a fantastic result. Mel M increased her Inbody score by 4 and lost a massive 3.3kg of fat (not weight but body fat), which is equally fantastic. OUR MINDSET HERO........ is Mikayla D. Mikayla impressed everyone with her determination and commitment to rising above the challenges. She worked extremely hard, never giving up and with a renewed sense of purpose to her workout and her health. It was awesome to watch her work. Finally, Nat and Cherie would like to congratulate all of the participants. We think you are all champions and admire the efforts you have made towards improving your health. As we mentioned at the start of the challenge, building habits and committing to your health are not one-off events. Everyone stepped outside their comfort zone and challenged themselves with every week, and for that you should all be very proud. Now, to the next challenge..........

06.01.2022 Update from ACT Government - Mask Wearing Hello Beautiful Members. I hope you are well. The ACT government has issued an update on mask wearing. As of Friday 9th July 11.59pm you do not have to wear a mask to and from Samsara. Please see information below from ACT website. Face masks are required in certain public settings within the ACT in accordance with the Public Health (Mandatory Face Masks) Emergency Direction 2021 until 11.59pm on Friday 9 July 2021. From Saturday 1...0 July, we encourage you to wear a face mask where physical distancing is not possible, such as public transport or crowded indoor venues. Face masks will continue to be mandatory for all domestic air travel and while in the Canberra Airport, as well as for people under stay-at-home requirements while in the community. You should also continue to follow the advice on mask wearing in high risk settings, such as hospitals, health facilities and residential aged care facilities While there is currently no community transmission, masks will add another line of defence as we work to keep COVID-19 out of Canberra. https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/act-status-and-re/face-masks Samsara's classes will be back to normal (all classes back on the timetable) as from Monday 12th July.
