13.01.2022 ~On the Brink~ On the brink and precipice. I hold tightly to the words left before me. Though speechless I clench. Tongue tied and silent.... As the storm rages on. What am I to do. When such destructive forces. Sit upon iron thrones. Forged from cuts and spinning lies. They stoke the fires with their tongues. As if chaos is their master. And order their slave. Holding on. It stands to reason. Defiance is the season. In the face of oblivion. On the brink. Of fire and clay. What will we make. To test the time. How will we fair when the pyre comes. To judge us.
