23.01.2022 We have pulled out the fin heaters, flannelette sheets and extra blanket on the bed in each of the 3 bedrooms for our cooler months ~ this is our master bed with an ensuite!! 15.01.2022 Welcome to our Sandcastles family "Scotty" our highlander rug... Added it to the lounge area today and hope it warms people's stay. Thank you to my little helper EJ after our sushi and juice lunch date out on the deck, was great hanging out at the beach house even for a short break in the busy school holiday season! 15.01.2022 Winter school holidays are upon us and guests are still braving the Great Ocean Road, but we are having some great, mild days really and lots of fun still be had with family and friends. New side fence and gravel driveway are in too! Next on the hit list will be a front fence to make our yard fully enclosed and some garden changes. Watch this space. SC X

14.01.2022 Spring has sprung at the newly decorated Sandcastles this school holidays with every night booked out and October filling fast so be sure to book as soon as possible to avoid missing your Great Ocean Road getaway with us in beautiful Peterborough Special mention to my A team who helped us bring our 1990's beach shack into the modern millennium where it belongs. We are loving our light and bright make over Thank You Anya Fenton Design, Geff Norton Painting, GM cabinets, Milk Chic Creative, David Smith flooring, Thomas White plumbing, Emma Roney, Sam Dalziel gardening and any child minders along the way (Now just to paint the outside and stain the deck and we will be set for our 4th summer on Airbnb whoo hoo)

A commonly made mistake is tourists turning around and heading back to Melbourne from the 12 Apostles / Port Campbell township. 11.01.2022 We love it when family and friends come to stay with us @ Sandcastles Beach House in Peterborough for a Great Ocean Road weekend getaway. Thanks for making the trek from the big smoke Mr & Mrs Snibson we hope you enjoyed the hospitality as much as we loved spending the weekend chilling out! A tick off the bucket list and high light of their stay was definantly taking a chartered boat ride along the Apostles rugged coastline ~ an absolute must when visiting the area.
