18.01.2022 Higest score of 313 and lowest of 296 over 6 category's at least I'm consistent. Great event by Mojo events, Huge turn out from the folks of Wollongong, I like to thank Woolworths for the lamb, Coles for the discount chicken Bringley Pork and Bacon for the ribs and Margret river premium meats for the Wagyu brisket. Too say Sunday was tough was an under statement. Birthday beers on sat night got a little out of hand. Shout out to Shire Smokers, Pits Perfect and Kurt from Fastlane BBQ great night. Chin chin MF.

10.01.2022 Get down to Woodville reserve next weekend to try some of the states best BBQ as teams battle it out to be crowned Grand Champion. Good luck to all teams competing. Sandgroper BBQ are unable to make it due to work commitments but look forward to seeing the results. Great effort by organisers to have a KCBS sanctioned event in WA. Looks to be a great weekend.

10.01.2022 Had a great weekend at Rockhampton Reserve Grand Champion 1st in Pork 2nd beef ribs 2nd lamb (I hate Lamb)... Like to say a massive thank you to The Smokin' Yak Fiona you did a huge job organising and then catering all weekend. CQ Mega Expo, Callaghan Park Rockhampton-Function and Events Centre, Rachel Davis and the Australasian Barbecue Alliance huge effort and it was great to meet Will and Jesse. I would like to mention local Rockhampton Butcher Dawson Road Butchery for supplying all the above meat for the competition. Never meat the bloke asked for specific cuts and brands picked up three days later all spot on. Well done to the The Meat Sweats great win and well done on being World Champions. I would like to say a special thank you to all the teams who competed it was a great competition and very enjoyable atmosphere. I delay hope to get back for Beef week next year. Bigger and better. And last but not least, Angie King and David king, Allyson N Paul Ogilvie, Harry Baker, Daniel White, Robbie Moir, Bronnie Durston, Paul Durston for putting me up whilst travelling it was truly appreciated and hopefully if you travel west a bed and feed is available any time.
