12.01.2022 Public Transport Commuters are on the rise across the Eastern Seaboard with Train Passengers improving across the three key metro markets. Victorians are coming back to the office, which is seeing amazing flow-on train patronage. Metro Trains Melbourne CEO, Raymond O’Flaherty, has even announced that passenger peak levels have been as high as 60% of pre-COVID passenger numbers! In order to encourage people to take public transportation in #Melbourne, fares outside of peak t...imes will be discounted by 30% for three months. #Queensland Rail has seen a significant increase in passengers, reaching over 3 million monthly passenger journeys in March 2021 the highest monthly figure since pre-COVID. This is an amazing increase of over 15% month to month! #Sydney Trains also saw an increase of passengers from February to March by a considerable 18%.
