25.01.2022 Finally finished the entrance piece for Cicerellos, it’ll be installed next week. Many hours of binding, splicing, knotting and netting all firmly attached to a steel hoop n weld-mesh frame. A tribute to the fishing industry.

21.01.2022 Loved this day a few years back where I was commissioned to bring out many of my puppets for the Freo Festival. Many friends helped animate them with me, it was such fun and lovely to see them out of the seatainer once more. Any of them can be hired for events..... with accompanying puppeteer of course .

20.01.2022 Rehearsing with Percival the completed cephalopod. So beautiful to watch the girls manipulating him to perfection. They gently explored his environment reaching out tentative tentacles. They teased the audience and wove themselves amongst the festival-goers with finesse. I only wish I was in Karratha longer to develop an entire performance with this crew. The elder girls gave up hours of their time after school and on the weekends. Hard working , focused, creative people , I ...loved working with you all. Karratha you should be proud of your youth! Thanks to all who participated from Roebourne, Karratha, Wickham and Dampier. Pearl the Guerrilla Granny thanks the golf club for the loan of the golf buggy/ chariot. Thanks to City of Karratha crew and the Red Earth Arts Precinct, Emily, Sheridan, Doz, Shan, Roebourne PCYC, and of course Pippa who had the original concept of the beast that was to have two tentacles created in each place. 17.01.2022 The past month has been busy with puppets n projects. A couple of days working with the team now performing in France with Song For The Mardoowarra, working on new art pieces, listening to an awesome performance by the Wirlomin Language group in Denmark and travelling to Esperance working with the CAN Rekindling Stories on Country Project. Including many of country to get you out n about....the flowers are awesome if you take time to explore the conservation areas .

13.01.2022 wonderful second day of Fish Guts n All, what a great group, so many from the fishing industry, crayfishermen...and their families,ships educators, female skippers we had a great time. Our hosts at Mandolin Seafood Factory and Northern Star Seafood couldn't have been better! Thanks Daniel, Yana, Ian Loretta, Aldo and all the hard workers behind the scenes. Last trip tomorrow 2pm meet at the Esplanade park cnr Mouat st and Marine Tce Freo xx
