22.01.2022 Now that we just have Debbie and Rosie at home it is finally their turn to be handled. Unlike the others we didnt need to hand feed when they were born so the girls were much more independent. A few food bribes soon turned that around. Halters on next week.

20.01.2022 So Harrison went off to his new home today. He was on high alert as soon as we went to put him in the yards but behaved really well and loaded easily. Sad to see him go but with 2 upcoming bulls we just couldn't justify keeping him. We are members of the Australian Miniature Hereford Breeders Network and every month we have an online meeting to talk about any problems others are facing or interesting things that have happened all with the aim of supporting each other to become better cattle Breeders. I have found the support to be invaluable and the amount of advice and reassurance received has helped immensely. 13.01.2022 We have a pretty motly bunch of chooks, all shapes and sizes. There is Little Chicken, the wee white one who just walked in one day (Adrian thinks it's a pidgeon in disguise), Mr&Mrs Smith, Jen and Marilyn our Bantys, the two black ones both called Betty, a bud red one Ruby and Tawny Port.
