13.01.2022 Dear Patients, If you fit into the below criteria and that an appropriate history, investigation, examination, implementation of a plan and preventative care is undertaken: * Patient at risk of COVID-19: * Has either been diagnosed with COVID-19, but NOT admitted to hospital, or;... * Has been advised to self-isolate themselves in quarantine in accordance with AHPPC, or; * Is considered more susceptible to the COVID-19 virus, being: * at least 70yrs old, or * at least 50yrs old & ATSI, or * pregnant, or * a parent of a child under 12 months old, or * a person with a chronic health condition, or * immunosuppressed. You are eligible for a TeleHealth phone/video consult with your GP. Please note, this is a temporary service for patients that are within these requirements. It is important to understand that your practitioner will be limited in examining you and others during a Telehealth phone/video consult. This service will enable people to access essential health services in their home while they undergo self-isolation or quarantine, and reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for vulnerable people in the community.
