22.01.2022 Today at Santa Clara we are celebrating Shrove Tuesday. This is traditionally the day where we feast on pancakes because eggs, dairy and sugar were restricted during the Lenten period. How does your family celebrate Shrove Tuesday? Mr Payne and his family eat their pancakes for afternoon tea. Mrs Madafferi and her family have their pancakes after dinner for desert with Maple Syrup and bacon. Mrs Walker treats herself to some quality relaxation time and a trip to mass. Mrs Wilson's family celebrates by having pancakes for dinner with Nutella and sprinkles and marshmallows.

If any of our kids who have stayed home during lockdown have completed their colouring and would still like to enter please email a picture through to Mrs Wilson at [email protected]. We will be printing them all out and judging our Junior and Senior categories tomorrow morning.
