23.01.2022 We would like to extend a massive congratulations to Alex Rideout who played his 250th senior game on Sunday against Vipers FC! Alex started his footballing career at South Adelaide way back in under 10s, before moving to Cumberland United where he made his senior debut in 2009. Alex won the league and finals series with Cumberland which caught the eye of Adelaide City coach Damian Mori. Alex had a very successful stint at Adelaide City which was capped off by an important br...ace in the grand final which defeated West Adelaide. Alex also played a vital role in City’s historic FFA Cup run that saw them knock out Western Sydney Wanderers. His footballing journey then continued at West Adelaide where he once again won the NPL title! Alex enjoyed seasons at White City and Seaford Rangers in his journey back to South Adelaide where it all began. Join us in congratulating Alex on a truly outstanding senior career so far. 17.01.2022 Here at Soccer By Design we are always thinking about what we can offer next for our junior players. We have decided that we will start SBD Elite Minis on a S...aturday morning. Age groups would be 3-5 years old and 5-7 years old on a Saturday morning from 9am - 9.45am. Sessions would be $20 each for the 45 minutes. Training sessions will be mostly based around fun, excitement, exercise, brain games, balance, coordination, agility, footwork, social skills, ball work and flexibility. These are major aspects into getting a child ready to play club or school soccer in the future. If you would be interested please send us a message to our Facebook page as we are currently taking expressions of interest to start in 2 weeks time. We have been involved in some 3rd party small kids programs in the past and we feel we can take them to another level while engaging all the kids at the same time and really allowing them to develop their skills through fun play not structured training drills. 03.01.2022 *Massive thanks from the TD* Well what can I say? At the start of the year there was Lots of excitement around the club about what success season 2020 could bring us, then we where hit with the unexpected with no one knowing if the season would even re start! This was a very turbulent time for all involved and I would like to say a MASSIVE thanks to all of our members, players, parents, coaches and all volunteers for being so patient with so many unanswered questions to event...ually be a part of what was still to come Eventually to everyone’s delight the season would recommence but unfortunately not all players where to return after all the uncertainty! This could have caused major problems going forward but fortunately our coaches kept the faith and worked together to make sure we could still put a competitive team on the park week in week out.
