22.01.2022 How about these Legends?! We would like to say a huge thank you to David, Ben and Michael from the Sapphire City Wind Farm who have kindly donated over $2000 wo...rth of toys to our toy drive! They donated 75 toys (one for each of the 75 wind turbines built in Glen Innes). We are overwhelmed with the amount of generosity we have received from our community. These legends will also be supplying the meat for our wrapping day which will be cooked by the Inverell Lions Club! Again a huge thank you to Dave, Ben and Michael from Sapphire Wind Farm

21.01.2022 TOTAL FIRE BAN for NEW ENGLAND, NORTHERN SLOPES FIRE AREAS on SUNDAY (29 November) That includes the Glen Innes Severn, Tenterfield, Uralla, Walcha, Arm...idale, and Inverell council areas. Fire danger will be VERY HIGH for the Northern Slopes and New England. The ban runs from 12.01am to 11.59pm Sunday What CAN and CAN’T you do? A total fire ban means no fires in the open air. ‘Open air’ means anywhere outside, including a deck, balcony, courtyard or park. Includes cities and towns. Cooking outside is restricted to gas and electric barbecues only, with conditions. No "hot works" like welding or grinding in the open Penalties apply for breaking the rules.
