23.01.2022 Handsome Cash just keeps getting better with age He recently turned 3yrs old.

21.01.2022 Ember and Elodie are the best of friends, but they are not left alone together throughout the day or night. In fact, they spend very little time together and they are supervised 90% of that time. I do this for a number of reasons. Firstly, I want their connection with me to be stronger than their connection with each other. Both pups can cope just fine if I take the other out of the equation. If they’re in the midst of rough play that I want to stop, I can easily recall e...ither of them, or both of them, and I have their attention straight away. Which flows into my second point of play time and appropriate play. Elodie loves to rough and tumble just like her mums play style. This can easily lead to injuries if not controlled, so for the sake of all involved, I intervene if play is starting to get rough. And I don’t want either of them to think that this is how we approach and play with a strange dog in the park, as that could quickly end in disaster. And thirdly, puppies left alone together just equal trouble. You can guarantee if one starts barking at the chickens, the other will join in. If one starts digging a hole, the other will join in. If one wanders beyond the fence, the other will join in... you get the picture. It is much easier to teach them desirable habits one on one and as these habits become reliable behaviours they will be able to spend more time with each other. And in the meantime, it comes down to management.

07.01.2022 On the 3rd September, our good friends at Kambalano Border Collies welcomed a lovely litter of babies into the world. These special babies arrived a number of days premature and sadly we lost half of the litter as their little lungs just weren’t developed enough to cope. These three troopers fought on and kept me up feeding around the clock for a number of days until they were strong enough for their mum to take over. They are now thriving and are the most adventurous and f...un little guys. Dam: Aust Ch Saradale Shield Maiden Sure: Aust Ch Saradale Out Of The Dark I have a long waiting list of potential families for these babies, so I’m not taking any new expressions of interest at this time for these little guys thanks.

05.01.2022 Early morning airport drop off for little Ruby. She’s one her way to a dear friend of mine who lost their old border collie earlier in the year. Flick was a gorgeous red and white girl from my very first Saradale litter. I hope little Ruby bring them much joy after a tough year.
