09.01.2022 Today Sarah’s Family Daycare took to the road on our first big excursion to the Hunter Valley Zoo. The children had such an amazing day, having the chance to get up close to some beautiful animals, feed & pat them, as well learn some interesting facts from the various talks the zoo keepers educated us with

08.01.2022 For all my beautiful childcare family - the only job where 1.5m distancing cannot be enforced and corona cannot be easily explained. You all help keep this world on turning. This week (next week and there after), preschool staff across the country will go into preschools where they will interact with children of medical staff who are highly exposed to COVID-19. They will not be given face masks or protective clothing. They won't get free coffee, half price pizza or spe...cial shopping hours. They will perform their jobs in ways they have never done before and they will do it with a smile on their faces so that the children in their care don't know how scared they are; Scared for those children. Scared for their own. Scared of being responsible for taking the virus home to loved ones. Thank you to all Educators, Teachers, Teaching Assistants and anyone else heading into a preschool and school this week to keep it running so that our amazing health workers and carers can take care of the sick and the vulnerable, our shops can stay open and services can continue. You too are heroes!
