25.01.2022 Super excited to be back training all of my amazing clients again @revofitness If you missed yesterday’s IGTV, I posted about my 5 tips to getting back into the gym. Check it out One thing I wanted to elaborate on is mindset..... Here is some perspective so that you can change how you think and put yourself in a positive mindset for when you transition back to the gym or even to exercise generally. Lower your expectations. Not only will your lifts feel different, weights feel heavier, but even getting back into a routine can feel difficult. So, ease yourself back in and remember that you can take your time. You should take your time! There is no rush and there is no competition with anyone else. Setting lower expectations will make things seem more achievable, but it will also make you feel happier about your progress overall. You are your own competition. Remember that we are all starting from different points in our journey. Although most of us might feel like we are starting again - that’s not a bad thing! Try to look on the positive sides of things. Progress goes beyond just the weight on the scale and your body fat. Anything that you do differently to become better, get healthier, perform better, move better is still progress. Do the things that you like! You don’t have to run if you don’t like it. You don’t have to lift weights if you don’t like it. Find what works for you and get back into it. Be kind to yourself and let’s get back on track

04.01.2022 Hey Guys! These are my 5 tips for those of you who would like to read 1. Set New Goals and put some thought behind these goals. Make them SMART. 2. Put yourself in the right mindset. It’s OK to be anxious, annoyed, frustrated and all the feels. You’re not alone! Focus on the positives and with time you’ll be even stronger than you were when this all began. ... 3. Starting moving a bit more. 5 - 10 mins more a day is better than none at all. 4. Incorporate some body weight movements now as a pre gym phase! 5. Start making and maintaining good habits before your schedule gets busy again. What do you want to incorporate, what do you want to maintain? Let’s get back on track!
