22.01.2022 Nevaeh Whiting is a Grade 4 student in our school. Outside of school hours, she trains at SAM's Dance Studio in Palmerston. She competed in the 'Follow Your Dreams' competition on Saturday 5th September, performing this dance. Nevaeh achieved 2nd place in her division.We are so proud of her. She is one brave little dancer. Congratulations Nevaeh!

20.01.2022 Guess what has arrived in the uniform shop? As part of the Middle School Project Based Learning lessons, some students suggested the purchase of plain, black A-frame hats so they can be wearing school uniform and still look cool These hats are available for purchase now for $12 from the Front Office.

20.01.2022 Students from Gawa Christian School on Elcho Island came to Sattler Christian College last Wednesday for a school visit. The Gawa students enjoyed participating in Science experiments and Food Technology with Grade 9/10, Footy and Art with Grade 5/6 and Music with Grade 3/4. The whole school enjoyed playing on a huge slip-n-slide with our Gawa friends at lunch time! We are looking forward to continuing relationships with our Gawa sister school.

18.01.2022 Marissa and Tobi are two of our brave students that recently competed in the Junior Rodeo. These brave girls competed in a few events and rode poddy cows and horses bucking and riding their way to some 1st 2nd or 4th places. What a tremendous amount of practice and bravery these girls and their parents have put in. ... We are so proud.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to Sattler student Elissa on her amazing achievement! Elissa received a high distinction on her Grade 2 AMEB piano exam thanks to her wonderful Piano teacher Lyn Kernick. What an amazing effort.

17.01.2022 Rowan Unwin is a Grade 2 student in our school. Outside of school hours, he receives piano tuition from Lyn Kernick. Lyn was a teacher at our school many years ago and her husband Andrew Kernick was Sattler's first principal. They are now retired and still ministering in many ways. We would like to thank Lyn Kernick for her wonderful work with our students.

17.01.2022 Our Middle School Community Serve and Appreciation (CSA) class did a clean up of Mindil beach and park last Tuesday. The students were enthusiastic about making a difference in the community. They filled five large bags of rubbish from the beach, dunes and park reserve. We are so proud of our students and their wonderful teacher, Jacob Nocelli.

17.01.2022 Yesterday our Year 9’s conquered Mt Sonder! Despite wind and a little spitting rain, students from all four NT Christian Schools made it to the top of this epic mountain.

17.01.2022 The Sattler Christian Choir practise every Friday. The students have been learning to sing in two part harmonies and have been developing their performance skills. 08.01.2022 On Saturday the 19th Sattler student Teleah represented the NT Budgies (junior subgroup of Darwin and NT Rural Bird Association) at Bunnings promoting the group and sharing her knowledge of birds with interested adults and children alike. Teleah is also part of the junior sub-group involved in planning, creating and supervising a display within the avi pavilion at the Darwin Show. Well done Teleah

06.01.2022 Delilah Glover is in grade seven at our school. She has been involved in gymnastics for six years now and trains at TGA - Territory Gymnastics Academy. On the 7th November 2020, Delilah competed at the TGA local competition, completing a solo routine and group routine. Delilah and her team also competed in the State Championships on Sunday 15th November in the level 4 individual and group routine. We are so proud of Delilah and congratulate her on her achievements. We would like to acknowledge her coach Rachel Gargan from TGA - Territory Gymnastics Academy. What a wonderful effort from both coach and student!

Today they filmed a dance as a special farewell tribute to Kathleen Flentje, who works in our NT System Office. When back at school they even searched for plants and trees they had learnt about on the night collecting them to use and show their parents.
