Today I am going to share with you how to brand yourself on Social media to attract the right connections and clients. 1- Define your personal Brand - The founder and CEO of Amazon Jeff Bezos is often credited with saying, "Branding is what people say about you when you are not in the room.... 2- Understand who your target market is, the clearer you are on who your ideal client is , the more effective content you will be able to create. Media coverage is key in the public relations industry and that’s why it is so important to understand the difference between them. Earned media is essentially media about your brand that is shared by a third party. This includes sharing posts, mentions, reposts, reviews anything that spreads awareness about your brand without you personally doing so. As the name suggests, you have to earn this media. A gr...eat method of attracting earned media comes from an amalgamation of organic rankings (like popping up on the first page of Google) and good content produced by the brand. Owned media is what you own and control. For example, websites, blogs, and social media channels. Maintaining strong owned media helps build your online presence/awareness and leads to greater chances of earned media. Paid media is essentially paid advertising and is a great way to increase growth. You can develop this media by using social media platform’s advertising like Facebook Ad Manager.
