22.01.2022 This morning, one of our clients was granted conditional release before the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He was charged with numerous offences stemming from the importation of a border controlled drug, namely cocaine, possession of multiple firearms and other firearm related offences. Our client is eagerly awaiting his release in order to defend the serious allegations which have been levelled against him.

22.01.2022 Another great result this afternoon - with our client being sentenced to a 12 month Intensive Corrections Order, to be served in the community, following a plea of guilty to the supply of over 70 kg of Cannabis and proceeds of crime offences. 21.01.2022 This afternoon our client was acquitted of two charges pertaining to allegations of shoot with intent to murder. After being granted bail before the Local Court in 2016, it has been a long three and a half year wait for our client to set the record straight. Following a seven week trial before Downing Centre District Court, the jury took only 6 hours to finalise their deliberations and reach a verdict of not guilty on both counts. #TeamSSL #notguilty

18.01.2022 This afternoon, our Sydney office appeared before the Downing Centre District Court on sentence proceedings pertaining to a series of high level fraud offences. Following a two year criminal investigation by the New South Wales Police Force, six members of an alleged criminal group were charged with a string of serious fraud offences. These offences included, dealing with the proceeds of crime and dishonestly obtaining property by deception in the order of over 2 million doll...ars. Ultimately, our client was sentenced to a two year Intensive Corrections Order (ICO) and avoided a full time prison sentence, after we were successful in persuading the Court that there were alternatives available to full time imprisonment. 18.01.2022 Last week, our Sydney office appeared for sentence on behalf of our client who was initially charged with 18 offences related to a year long undercover investigation. Our client was charged with multiple counts of a large supply commercial quantity of drugs, possession and supply of firearms, and possession of counterfeit money. After extension negotiations with the DPP our office was successful in having 14 of those offences withdrawn, and all drug offences reduced to the ...indictable quantity. Our clients matter was finalised and is due to be released on parole this week.

17.01.2022 This morning, our Sydney office appeared in two respective matters involving drug possession just below the traffickable quantity. Both clients received non-conviction orders and entered into bonds to be of good behaviour for a period of 7 months.

04.01.2022 This morning, our office appeared before Cairns Magistrates Court to secure our client bail on a string of serious offences including trafficking dangerous drug, supply dangerous drug and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime. These alleged offences occurred whilst our client was subject to previous bail conditions, imposed earlier this year for identical offences. The prosecution formed a strong opposition to the application, however, conditional bail was imposed by the Court. #gotbail
