01.01.2022 Business: Artisan Connect The final product. FB: https://www.facebook.com/Artisan.Connection/ INSTA: https://instagram.com/artisan.connect/... This is a platform for showcasing the handcraft of Indigenous Artisans to connect them with buyers worldwide in an effort to keep ancient traditions alive and to help impoverished communities in Latin America. We collaborate in sourcing goods for retail buyers and for individual purchase. All products are 100% fair trade and ethically sourced, with the majority of profits going to the Artisan. My intentions with this program are to: Help Indigenous Artisans to earn a just wage for the time taken to make their product. Keep ancient craft traditions alive in this world ever focussed on digitization. Promote businesses who trade fairly and ethically. ABOUT ME I am an Australian Textile and Graphic Designer with 15 years experience in the fashion and homewares industry, primarily in Textile Design and Product Development. I have always been a humanitarian, with a passion for social justice and empowering impoverished and underprivileged people, especially women.

01.01.2022 Business: Artisan Connect Logo for Facebook, Instagram and business cards. STAGE 1: Here is the whole design process from start to finish.... Started with a photo of a Rug from Oaxaca, Mexico. Created linework and a border shape. Eliminated parts to create a link like shape. Repeated out the shape to create a pattern. Sliced or erased sections again to create the final template to add the font of the business name. Inverted and superimposed various textures and shapes. See more
