22.01.2022 What a great way to end the year with another SBG Iron Man celebrating our 4 new blue belts. All of these guys are super awesome club members and we are proud to have them as part of our tribe. Mitch Lever who is one of our OG members from the shed and has put together a really consistent year to become a force to be reckoned with on the mat. Benn Harding who has really started to put it all together after a rocky start and is a testament to what perseverance can do for you.... Jesse Wynne who has capped off a great year of work by winning gold in his last 2 comps as blue belt after only receiving it a few months ago. Tim Auty who has also put together some consistent training and study this year to become a real danger. It's been a great year and we have really strengthened as a club and done some excellent things. We can't thank everyone enough for the help and support and looking forward to many fun filled sessions after the break. Being a coach can be an incredibly challenging endeavour at times. A sincere thank you to every single one of you that trains with us and is a part of our tribe. You make it all worthwhile.

07.01.2022 We graded our first growing gorilla to yellow white belt this week. Jax is very committed to his training and comes to every possible class. He's a Great role model and a caring and intelligent young man. We're all very proud of him. ... Josh had a tough day at school and didn't want to come to class, there were a few tears. But we told him it was a special day for his best mate jax and he'd want to be there with him. And to his credit he collected himself and came in . I was so proud of him. 01.01.2022 This is a photo of all the kids who participated in our in house tag team comp last week. For some it was a first time competing. Not everyone gets a medal. But all these kids have achieved significant victories this year and every year they train with us. In that group there is a kid who was too afraid to balance on a fit ball a year or two ago.... A kid that had anxiety and cried because they were too scared to join in at training. A kid that felt they were too small and were scared of bigger kids. kid that didn't like wrestling and feeling powerless. A kid that had trouble making friends. A kid that was being bullied at school. These are the wins that impress us the most.
