I've been working for SBL Solutions for the past 15 months and the best part about the job are the guys I work with, the challenges we face each day and the company I work for. ... My greatest achievement is building turbines... also my 3 kids, they're alright. As I'm in isolation at the moment and living by myself, the most annoying habit of my housemate at the moment is that he doesn't talk enough, it's pretty quiet. In my spare time outside of work, I enjoy building turbines out of Lego with my kids, although they don't know that we're going to be doing that yet because it's a Christmas present." 03.01.2022 Meet our Compliance Manager Brenda "I work across all sites looking after all things Compliance and HSQE. I primarily work from home along with regular sites visits, unfortunately due to Covid I haven't been able to travel and I am genuinely missing catching up with everyone on site. I have worked for SBL for just over 2 years, I started as site HSE on the Willogleche Wind Farm, progressing into my current role. ... I can genuinely say I love my job. I am blessed to work with an amazing team of people. No day is ever the same, I am always stepping outside of my comfort zone challenging my own skills and knowledge. My greatest achievements are my children, as much as they drive my crazy..lol... Finishing my first Marathon, I took up running because I hated it, so I signed up for the Gold Coast Marathon. Im always setting myself goals whether they be personally or professionally. Something you might not know about me is that I can play the flute, piano and trumpet. Outside of work I enjoy training for triathlons. I love to swim, ride, run and get out and get lost (I literally get lost!!) trail running and riding In the great outdoors in the Flinders ranges. My role model is Anna Meares, World Champion Track Cyclist an amazing person and athlete and my celebrity crush is Ryan Reynolds.
