20.01.2022 Do you fish with Graphite rods, this is the reason why you don't use them when an electrical storm is looming..

18.01.2022 Another sad day for the fishing industry with the passing of Schneider Fishing lines, Robert Gossage. Known as Bob or Mr Schneider, a great man, providing a great product over the years and he will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all of those that have had the pleasure in meeting him along the way. RIP Bob and tight lines. https://www.facebook.com/256280532233/posts/10156032774557234/

17.01.2022 "Lest We Forget"

16.01.2022 The things you find when doing a complete rod rebuild. A plastic wine bottle cork, commonly found in the 80's in Riccadonna and passion pop and a few other cheap wines. They were commonly used as a Fishing rod butt cap when old one split or snapped off. As you can see, the rod blank at some stage has been shattered, another piece of fishing rod glued up inside and the plastic wine cork shoved up inside and glued.

11.01.2022 This rod would be a nightmare to fix..

10.01.2022 That is certainly my problem.

08.01.2022 Here is a customer's rod I did a while back. Every effort is to repair the rod with the exact runner and bindings.

07.01.2022 We would love to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Years. Thank you to all our customers who have supported us over the past year, we will be taking a short break over this period but we will be back next year fixing all your broken fishing rod.

07.01.2022 Don't forget, Queensland Fisheries have released the new revised and updated fishing regulations, effective from today, 1st of September. https://www.facebook.com/141031799242532/posts/2723440241001662/

06.01.2022 Don't go and buy a new rod, get your favourite rod repaired.

04.01.2022 An old Snyderglas rod, fully rebuilt. Out with the old and in with the new. New grips, new reel seat, modern runners and all new binds. Keeping with the old red/yellow original binds, done a black under and over bind with red/yellow end and centre binds. The customer wants to use this old 10ft Snyderglas for fishing, the original set up only had 5 guides plus tip, I've added 3 more runners.

03.01.2022 Easter is fast approaching. It's been a busy week already with repairs, customers getting ready for the Easter long weekend.
