They were scared of snakes, wild animals and being attacked.

22.01.2022 This Australia Day I had the privilege of enjoying breakfast with the Scarborough community at our beautiful Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club. The event was organ...ised by Scarborough Rotary. We heard from Rotarian Hugh Frost who told of his story coming to Australia from Zimbabwe in 1983 and what citizenship has meant for his family. We also heard from Dr Mike Donaldson who presented us with a précis on Aboriginal Rock Art from around Australia, Prof Andrew Whitehouse on his research into improving the lives of children on the Autism spectrum and honoured Gordon Hudson CEO of wheelchairs for kids as we acknowledge over 47,000 wheelchairs having been provided to children in over 40 developing countries. Reflect, Respect and Celebrate. Happy Australia Day. We are so lucky to live here!
