22.01.2022 WHO IS READY FOR TERM 4 ? We can’t wait to welcome back our students tomorrow for the last term of the year, and what a year it has been! A quick reminder from Mr Mathieson for students to remember to bring a hat and drink bottle to PE lessons, especially for non-swimmers.... If your child is unable to participate in swimming this term, please hand in a note to your class teacher.

18.01.2022 Swimming is back! Starting term 4 swimming will be back for all P-6 students. Students will need to bring Rashie/sun shirt, swimmers, swimming cap, towel and goggles (if required) on their swimming day. All timetables will be sent out through the school star app.

12.01.2022 Larry’s first stop As the last week of the holidays is coming up to the end, we thought it would be good for Larry to check in with the lifeguards at the Redcliffe Lagoon. Larry had to make sure all the kids were having fun while being safe at the same time ... Was great to see all the families out and about in our great region.

12.01.2022 On Thursday our robotics teams participated in the First Lego League competition. The QUT judging team came to the school and the teams represented the school with pride and enthusiasm. 08.01.2022 Congratulations to our netball teams who represented our school proudly today in the BOSL Netball Competition Finals. They all played extremely well and displayed great sportsmanship. Our Division 2 team came second in extra time due to a draw. The Dvision 1 team came fourth. Congratulations also to Zara, Zoe, Maisie and Zoe for making the BOSL Allstar Team. A big thank you to Mrs Cebula and Mrs Kennedy for coaching the teams and the parents who assisted at the games. Well done everyone!

08.01.2022 Tonight at Coffee Club Kippa Ring, we joined together for a night of thanks at Chappy’s Coffee and Cake event. It was an opportunity to thank the people who support Chappy Nathan and assist him in serving the Scarborough State School and Hercules Road State School communities. On behalf of the school we thank his Breakfast Club volunteers, - Lorraine, Wendy and Barry, financial donors, the Scarborough State School P&C Association, LCC committee and supporting churches whose efforts and generosity allow Nathan to serve the students, families and staff of our school community. Nathan’s generosity, kindness and caring heart is truly valued by us all.
