21.01.2022 So here it is. One of the most magic moments of my life. At around 6 minutes I am conducting my last song for the SCAS Senior Choir and suddenly to my right a whole bunch of my past students appear. You only see my back, but if you saw my face you would know it was a mixture of confusion and wonder and joy. Later, as I bring the boys in I suddenly see a whole group of past boy students as well - and by that time I am laughing. I cannot thank you all enough for giving me the greatest gift I could wish for. It was the greatest secret ever and I will never forget it. Thank you to Duncan McArthur for taking this video. It is a bit wobbly and we have another one which will give more of a birds eye view which I will post when I get it - but wanted to share this with you.
18.01.2022 I have noticed this page still gets a lot of views, even though our posts now go to the PACE page, so here is something for you to enjoy.

09.01.2022 Merry Christmas friends and family. As a gift I would like to share this beautiful music. I have been so lucky to work with some remarkable young people over the many years I have lead choirs. This year we attempted an incredible piece by Eric Whitacre. I didn't think we would ever pull it off, particularly considering we had a new batch of 13 year olds in the group. Listen to this. It will transport you and remind you that music is an extraordinary path to something beyond ourselves, and also that we have a future that is very exciting because we have a younger generation capable of things we have never imagined. Happy Christmas and I hope 2015 is a special year for you all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvIo38k6nBI

03.01.2022 Here is an HD version of the Tolkein medley - the end bit Thank you Stephanie Bree Pattinson. It includes all the shenanigans at the end though sadly not Mark Brown's speech which I hope someone has. It sounds just amazing - thank you again to everyone involved. I will never forget it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ED28XAouHQ
