22.01.2022 Koalas will soon be extinct unless habitat clearing is stopped. This year’s bushfires killed a third of koalas in NSW and destroyed millions of hectares of habitat across the country, yet approvals continue to be given for mining and development projects that clear more land the koala calls home. I call on you to support an immediate moratorium on koala habitat clearing to save the koala.

21.01.2022 I just held my first press conference at Parliament as an MP! I'm calling on the Qld Labor Government to include a public housing stimulus package in the upcomi...ng budget. As a renter in a sharehouse, I know how hard it is to find affordable housing. It's a huge issue for the southside, so I'll be using my new position to fight for renters' rights and more public housing. This is an opportunity to end homelessness and create jobs when we need them most. We could fund 100,000 public homes and create 20,000 jobs just by increasing mining royalties and levying the big banks. Earlier this week Victorian Labor announced they'll invest in social housing to create jobs, so I'm really hoping Qld Labor will get on board too and work with the Greens on a public housing stimulus package for Queenslanders.
