17.01.2022 E X P R E S S I O N S of I N T E R E S T Tamworth Hockey is running a junior (13-18yrs) mixed competition on a Monday afternoon during term 3 between 4pm - 6pm commencing 20th July. We are seeking expression of interest for those that may be interested in playing. If numbers permit (minimum 14 players), we would be happy to nominate a team. ... To be eligible to play in this competition you must be NO YOUNGER than 12years old as of 1st January 2020 and NO OLDER than 17years old as of the 1st January 2020. There are no exceptions. Costs to play would be approximately $180 (to be confirmed) as you would need to register with Hockey NSW. The active kids voucher can be used for this. Tamworth are happy to accept a nomination from us as a team rather than split our players up into teams formed by them. This will also assist with travel and appointed game times (we have requested a 5pm game to allow travel up and a return at a reasonable hour, should we nominate a team). We are looking into taking a bus to assist with transport, if possible. Kim will be happy to travel with and run the team each week but would also like an additional helper. PLEASE NOTE: these games will be played on turf and will be quite a competitive competition with skill and positional play involved by all players in the competition. If you think your child would be interested please advise by 5pm Monday 29th June. ** we advise also that we are currently working towards a summer competition for both juniors and seniors

06.01.2022 NOTICE REGARDING THE 2020 SEASON It is with great disappointment that the executive committee has come to the decision to cancel the 2020 season. Rest assured, this isn’t a decision we have come to lightly. While COVID-19 restrictions may be relaxing, they still throw a huge impact on the ability of the committee and our few volunteers to police and meet those restrictions as well as monitor the health and safety of not only the participants but the volunteers and supporters ...Continue reading

03.01.2022 2020 Hockey Season Survey As advised, we are considering the option of having a 9 or 10 week season during Term 3 (Jul 18 - Sept 19), however we would like to see how much interest there is from our playing families to help us make an informed decision on if and how this can proceed given the current COVID 19 restrictions that will need to be implemented and adhered too by all. Fees have not yet been determined as we are waiting on reply from the relevant parties in regards ...to reduced costs, if any for the ground fees and insurance. Could you please advise either by message below or email [email protected] the following: 1. If you intend on playing? Please advise whether it be Juniors or Seniors? 2. Are you a parent/senior player that is willing to assist each week with policing of restrictions as well as monitor the health and safety of all participants? Please let us your reply no later than 10am Tuesday 16th June.
