23.01.2022 Does your pantry look a little more like photo 2 and you'd rather it look like photo 1? Here are some tips to help you on your way. 1. Write a list of all the products in your pantry.... 2. Order them in terms of the quantity you go through each fortnight. 3. Choose a set of containers that come in varying sizes and shapes. @kmartaus @spotlightstores @howardsstorage @kitchenwarehouse are all great. 4. Group items together on shelves I.e. baking, nuts, seeds, pulses, dried fruit. 5. Shop in bulk with us and bring your containers to refill ... this ensures your never left with excess product that wont fit .. and your eliminating pesky plastic packaging! Have fun!! @ Perth, Western Australia

22.01.2022 Green tea back in store!!

20.01.2022 If you still want to help with physical items for families affected by the fires .. maybe consider this group:

18.01.2022 **We have until Thursday the 20th to get submissions into the EPBC calling for a full environmental assessment of Alcoa's proposal to clear an additional 6700ha... of jarrah forests near Dwellingup and Jarrahdale. Please take 10 minutes to email [email protected] and set out the following points: Suggested subject line: Submission on Proposal 2020/8743 - Alcoa Pinjarra Refinery Production Increase and Bauxite Export Part One: 1. Outline who you are and your overall view on the proposal. 2. Recommend that the referral by Alcoa, "2020/8743", should be deemed a "controlled action" by the Federal Environment Minister. 3. Say that you recommend that a Public Environment Review (PER) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) be undertaken as a result of this referral, to allow for greater scrutiny and public transparency. Part Two: State that the proposal to clear 6700 ha of native vegetation - primarily jarrah forest ecosystems - would have significant impacts on Matters of National Environmental Significance including: (i) Federally listed wildlife: in particular the loss of critical habitat for Black Cockatoos, Western Ringtail Possums and other hollow-dependent fauna; and the clearing, degradation and fragmentation of habitat for other Federally listed species known to be in the area including Woylies, Chuditch, Quokkas, and Rainbow bee-eaters; and (ii) The Ramsar Wetland in the Peel Harvey estuary, which provides migratory bird habitat protected under the EPBC Act, will be affected by the cumulative impact of mining within the Peel Harvey Catchment Area. This area includes the areas proposed for the Alcoa mining extension. Part Three: Responses to Statements made in Alcoa's referral 1. Statement made in Alcoa’s referral - No old growth forest or formal conservation reserves will be cleared Response - Old growth forest is still being reassessed and identified and mapped on an ongoing basis and the definition of old-growth is contested. Informal conservation reserves will be cleared if this proposal goes ahead. 2 Statement made in Alcoa’s referral - No trees with hollows suitable for breeding of Black Cockatoos will be cleared Response - Mine clearing cannot leave islands of habitat hollows which take up to 200 years to be formed in trees for Cockatoo breeding. 3. Statement made in Alcoa’s referral - No granite outcrop habitats for threatened flora species will be cleared Response Mine clearing cannot leave islands of granite outcrops and associated habitats which are ecologically sustainable. 4 Statement made in Alcoa’s referral - All native vegetation that is cleared, including drainage floor/swamp habitats, will be rehabilitated to an equivalent vegetation community including plant species that will provide threatened fauna foraging resources. Mining and infrastructure avoids fauna habitat zones where practicable. Response Despite claims by Alcoa that swamps will be rehabilitated to an equivalent vegetation community, there is evidence that this cannot be effectively undertaken within the necessary timeframe to support the complexity of the ecosystem and local fauna communities. And then sign off! Thanks very much for everything you do. This is such an important action and together we can protect these forests.

04.01.2022 Hi, did you know I’m now earning 6 figures working from home selling oils. We’ve all heard it and I’m calling bull**it . Even if you’re not an ‘essential oi...ls’ kind of person, I GUARANTEE one of your fb friends isand this is relevant for everyone. WHY? Because we have somehow become accustomed to the false belief that big, overseas companies must be superior?! They’re not. Simple. Here we have a family-owned Australian company Buckley and Phillips Aromatics who have been manufacturing the highest quality products in Melbourne since 1972. doTERRA is Bottled Overseas. Buckley and Phillips is bottled right here. doTERRA is Owned Overseas. Buckley and Phillips is 100% Australian family owned. doTERRA is $23.55 for 10ml. Buckley and Phillips is $14.95 for 10ml (I used peppermint as an example to compare prices) doTERRA is a billion dollar, multinational, multi-level marketing company (it’s like a pyramid scheme but legal ). BUT we have an Australian made and owned alternative, of the highest standard, who have vowed to commit to Australian manufacturing and have been doing so for nearly 50 YEARS. And it’s bloody cheaper! So why do we keep getting sweet talked by the big guys?! It’s time to support these local companies who REFUSE to take the easy way out. And for me, after last weekend with a vomiting child their Gumleaf Essentials pure essential oils arewell.essential!! Check out their beautiful products www.buckleyandphillips.com.au and Make the Swap (please don't ingest essential oils on the advice of that random you went to high school with who is now earning 6 figures working from home in a multi level marketing scheme...are those 6 figures all zero?! ) #maketheswapaustralia #maketheswap #australianmade #australianowned

03.01.2022 The Farmers Market on Manning is definitely a one stop shop for all your weekly shopping needs and even more so now that Scoop & Pour have extended their produc...e range to include: WA Grown Black Barley. Black Barley Australia was founded by Roger Duggan when he sourced 160 grams of ancient grain from University seed banks. In 2016 Roger collaborated with the then Department of Agriculture to expand the volume of seed under quality assurance standards at their research station in Western Australia. Roger Duggan now grows the grain on his family property in New Norcia. Black Barley Australia won a delicious Australia award in 2020 and we are proud to stock this locally grown product! Very Vanilla is sourced from an Australian family farming in Mirriwinni, Queensland. This area has the perfect climate for growing Vanilla beans without the need for fertilisers or pesticides! Very Vanilla is 100% pure Australian grown vanilla. Meru Foods and Umami pantry are Australia's premier producer of traditional miso using 100% Australian grown Organic ingredients including Rice and Soy Beans. Based in Tasmania they are producing the only Australian miso based products. When you can source all of this and more from our Farmers Market why shop anywhere else!
